Miracle drug for Detox yet it's ILLEGAL here in the US

In my humble opinion it's absolutely INSANE that Ibogaine is illegal in the US. Just goes to show who has power over our lawmakers of the land...and it's NOT what's in the best interests of the public it's in the best interests of the PharmacoMafia. There are far more positive outcomes that GREATLY outweight any possible negative outcomes from Ibogaine use. Certainly far fewer than most of the "COMMON side effects" of most high blood pressure medications. Yet the FDA has approved those with even FEWER studies done than the studies on Ibogaine for addiction.

One of the biggest growing problems in America = Prescription drug addiction. Far more overdoses ending in death are attributed to Prescription medications than all street drugs combined.

I write this during the week following the death of one of the world's very beloved singers, beloved Whitney Houston.

We are losing far too many people to addiction and yet here we have such incredibly AMAZING results from treatment with Ibogaine.

I wasn't for the doctor being tried and punished who'd administered Michael Jackson's lethal dose that caused his death. However, after reading the time frames and dosages of meds within such a short time period...I don't know WHAT physician in their right mind would have administered all of that no matter HOW much he was begged to do so with the possible threat of being fired. So, manslaugher, similar to when a drunk driver causes the death of another person due to their negligence, Michael Jackson's doc deserves some punishment and never be allowed to practice medicine again. I'm not sure the latter is one of his consequences.

But here we have one of the most powerful addiction treatments available not allowed in the United States. Opiates and heroine (one in the same many believe, including myself) are two of the most difficult addictions to treat and have the highest incidence of relapse, yet Ibogaine quickly and efficiently removes the cravings in just one or two treatments...but we don't allow this here?!?!?!? Pain medication addiction is reaching epidemic proportion here, but Ibogaine is illegal here. Just in the last couple of years how many people have died from either a combination of illegal or Rx drugs and yet...Ibogaine is illegal here. Pretty messed up in my humble opinion.

The best we do here is either toss people in jail, which becomes a never ending saga or bury them. And the death toll and families destroyed toll climbs higher and higher.

So where is it going to end? When is it going to end? How many more people have to lose their lives before we get our heads out of the sand and realize that Big Pharma has control over physicians and politicians alike?!?! They are both wined and dined by the pharmaceutical industry!! Sales reps from RX drug companies get more attention and respect from many doctors and their staffs then PATIENTS do! Each appointment I've been to for my parents over the past 2 years has given me the opportunity of witnessing such a thing over and over again! As we sit there beyond our scheduled appointment time. a nicely dressed man or woman pulling a bag on wheels comes in and is quite well known and well received. Hearing a little of the conversation, as well as seeing some logo for a prescription drug on the bag or clipboard they're carrying gives it away quickly. Some of them are there to have LUNCH with the doc. or just leave some literature and samples. But it's obvious that they regularly come by and are well received.

And the body overseeing all of this drug stuff??? the FDA?!?!? now THAT's another story altogether for another time and day! But they, too, have very close ties with the drug manufacturing Pharmacomafia.

I highly recommend anyone who's struggling with or knows an opiate or heroin addict to check out the link below. This should be right here in the US...but it's not, however, this appears to be an outstanding facility and is one of the best I've seen available. If I could afford to send my loved one to it and they would agree I'd do it in a heartbeat!
